Casa Maritza

IMG 3480.resized

Maritsa rents two rooms among which a totally independent one, giving onto its own small terrace, its private bathroom and kitchen. Air-conditioning, in the center of the village, just a step from the central street but out of the vilage's traffic. Subtle decoration.

Maritsa is extremely kind and excellent cooker. Breakfasts and on-the-spot meal. Her husband is a genious of mecanics. I imagine you that this is out of interest for you but I'm so impressed to see machines I thought dead brought to life again :-)

Maritza is a great host, and the house is clean and comfortable, on a quiet street, with nothing to disturb you while admiring the mogotes from the rooftop terrace.

We were with 3 and stayed in the separated part of the casa. The room and bathroom were very clean and smelled well! The cooking of Maritza is very well: both breakfast and dinner were always very nice. She also give us a lot of choice in what we wanted for dinner. For people with a good appetite: we never finished our plates as she offered too much :)
The couple gives you a very warm welcome and is very communicative! Tips and tricks of Vinales are also given by them.
A real treasure of cuba!

I spent three nights in the El Almendro and I was very happy of the time that I spent in the casa of Omar and Maritza. I felt at home during my stay, I took the breafast every day (cheese, eggs, juice, ham, fruits, coffee, etc, very big breafast) and the dinner
(fish, chicken, very nice soup, rice, very large salad, fruits). Maritza is a very good cook, the room is very clean and you can enjoy the quietness of the balcony. Muchas gracias a los dos y un saludo.
